This small pine grove near the Kaišiadorys railway station, along the Geležinkeliečių (Railwaymen's) trail toward Vilnius, was planted in 1933 on the initiative of the Kaišiadorys Riflemen's Union (Šauliai) to mark the 10th anniversary of the reunification of the Klaipėda region with Lithuania.
