This monument in the churchyard of Rumšiškės St. Archangel Michael church honors priest Jonas Žemaitis, who together with Laura Meoci and Stefanija Ladygienė rescued Jewish children smuggled out of the Vilnius ghetto, hiding them at a children's home in Lauras. Roughly 100 children were saved in total.
