St. John's Spring in Seredžius flows in Jurbarkas district, 0.36 km northeast of Seredžius hillfort, on the right bank of the Pieštvė stream. During the independence-restoration period, local residents cleaned up the spring and its surroundings, and sculptor Juozas Šimkus carved a wayside shrine for it, blessed by Seredžius parish priest Antanas Jurgutis before a large gathering - the shrine bears the date June 24, 1989.
