Marijonų parkas

Graži vieta, Panevėžio apskritis

Named after the Marian friars who settled in Panevėžys in 1927, this park traces its origins to 1932, when the order established a nursery on the grounds with greenhouses for flowers and early vegetables. For decades it carried the Soviet-era name Jaunimo sodas (Youth Garden) before the municipality restored its historical name, Marijonų parkas, in 2021 at residents' request. It now houses an interactive sculpture trail called 'Gyvapaskis,' where QR codes on the figures let visitors listen to Aukštaitian folk tales.
