Graži vieta, Vilniaus apskritis
This hillfort in Pavilnių Regional Park sits above the Vilnia River in the Naujoji Vilnia district of Vilnius. Its oval platform measures about 28 by 20 metres, with slopes up to 18 metres high and a low defensive earthen bank along the south and east edges. A 1984 excavation found a cultural layer with grooved and incised pottery and an iron sickle, indicating use from roughly the 1st millennium through the 14th century. Wooden stairs, a bench and carved wooden sculptures have since been added at the site.
