Dole Island Nature Park protects most of the largest island in the Daugava River near Riga, an area of pine forest, river-terrace meadows, and the historic Dole Manor. Established in 1987 over roughly 1,044 hectares, it is a Natura 2000 site known for a dolomite outcrop geological monument.
