Apžvalgos vieta, Vidzeme
These are red sandstone cliffs (Sarkanās klintis) stretching more than 400 metres along the left bank of the Salaca River in Ainaži parish, near the Mērnieki iron bridge. A small rest area beside the cliffs has five shelters with tables and fire pits and tent sites, maintained by the local fishermen's association Salackrasti. It is one of several red sandstone outcrops exposed along the Salaca river system in this part of Vidzeme.
