This red-brick station building is a technical heritage site of Lithuania Minor, built around 1902 when the Pagėgiai-Smalininkai narrow-gauge line opened. The two-story building held passenger and administrative offices downstairs and the stationmaster’s family quarters upstairs, serving as a key trade and transport hub for grain, fruit, livestock and timber until the last train ran in 1944; registered in the Cultural Heritage Register in 2006, it has seen recent community-led restoration reviving its narrow-gauge railway heritage, including a displayed historic locomotive.
