Tradīciju laukums sits at Domes iela 1 in Līvāni, next door to the Līvāni Glass and Crafts Centre, and functions as the town's outdoor venue for festivals and public gatherings. It has hosted the "Līgo Līvānos" Midsummer celebration with live music, craftspeople's stalls and tastings, among other seasonal events organized in the town. Its central location on the town's main street makes it the default gathering point whenever Līvāni holds a public celebration.
