Established as a parish in 1788 by Tadas Jagminas, this church in Barstyčiai stands as a wooden building completed in 1906, with a rectangular plan, a massive tower and a porch. The complex, recognized as regionally significant cultural heritage in 2009, includes a four-sided wooden bell tower with four bells and a stone fence with gates, and holds a 19th century oil portrait of Bishop Motiejus Valančius measuring 130 by 85 centimeters.
