Dunikas purva taka is a roughly 4.5 km boardwalk trail through the Tirspurvs raised bog nature reserve near Dunika village, South Kurzeme. The route is point to point, so visitors either walk it both ways or leave a car at each end, passing small bog lakes and islets along the way. It ends at a stand of common hornbeam more than 150 years old, the only pure hornbeam forest in Latvia. The bog itself is estimated to be around 7,000 years old.
