Aukštieji Šančiai hillfort, also called Aukštapilis, is in Kaunas on the upper terrace of the right bank of the Nemunas. Kaunas IN and Lithuanian hillfort sources describe a small hillfort with a rampart, ditch and steep slopes of about 30 m. It is an urban nature-and-history stop near the Ąžuolynas and Šančiai area.
