Established in 2008, this is a World War II museum in Aglona holding over a thousand artifacts, including weapons, ammunition, uniforms, aircraft wreckage and household items from both sides of the conflict. A standout exhibit is a preserved wartime Feldpost letter correspondence, spanning five years, between a German officer and his fiancée. Visitors can handle replica weapons and try on period uniforms, and the exhibition presents both the German and Soviet sides without political framing.
