Set on a homestead dated to 1876 near the Krustkalni nature reserve in Mārciena, Madona municipality, this family farm runs a small petting zoo that visitors see by prior arrangement. Animals on site include wild and domestic horses, alpacas, ponies, an ostrich, coypu and poultry, and guests are welcome to bring carrots, cabbage or bread to feed them. Entry is by donation rather than a fixed ticket price.
