Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis
Also known as Birutkalnis, this hillfort surrounded by the Dubysa valley and its ponds has been studied by archaeologists several times. It is believed to have held a wooden Ariogala castle that was burned down by the Teutonic Knights in 1382. Local residents still gather here every year to celebrate the Midsummer festival of Joninės. The site is reached via the Ariogala-Čekiškė road or by turning off the highway toward Ariogala.
