Pagryžuvio piliakalnis

Graži vieta, Šiaulių apskritis

This hillfort occupies high ground on the left bank of the Gryžuva River, bordered by the river and its valley to the north, northwest and east. Steep slopes about 12 to 13 meters high surround an irregularly oval plateau, originally circular, measuring roughly 11 by 18 meters; river erosion has worn away part of the eastern section and northern slope. Deciduous trees now cover the mound, while a cleared, uncultivated meadow and an approximately one hectare settlement site sit at its southwestern foot.
