Pikajärve ujumiskoht

Paplūdimys, Tartumaa

Pikajärve rand is a swimming spot on Lake Pikajärv, a 9.3-hectare lake reaching depths of up to 23 meters, set in a valley below the 211-meter Laanemägi hill in the Kanepi Parish area of Põlva County. The lake's elongated, river-like shape gave it its name, Pikajärv meaning long lake, and it holds perch, roach, pike, and burbot. The shore also holds the main building of the former Pikajärve manor, now run as Cantervilla Castle, which maintains its own beach section for guests.
