Planted by Pranciškus and Barbora Laukys as a family guardian tree in Rukai village, this oak measures 5.10 meters in girth, spreads a 28.35 meter crown and stands 27 meters tall. After community revitalization efforts in 2025, it was voted Lithuania's Tree of the Year with 3,436 votes, going on to win Europe's Tree of the Year 2026 with 6,153 votes. The site now forms "Rasos Park," planted with over 40 young oaks.
