Neringa municipality legalized this stretch of shore, on the open Baltic Sea side of the Curonian Spit near Preila village, as an official nudist beach in 2022. It lies among the forested dunes separating Preila's lagoon side settlement from the sea, roughly six kilometers north of Nida. The beach has earned the Blue Flag award, an international mark for water quality, environmental management and safety standards, and is one of fourteen officially recognized nudist beaches in Lithuania, alongside similar sites at Nida, Pervalka and Juodkrantė within the same municipality.
