Līču-Laņģu klinšu taka

Žygis, Vidzeme

Līču-Laņģu klinšu taka is a roughly 6-kilometer marked trail in Gauja National Park near Cēsis, built to give safe access to the Līču-Laņģu sandstone cliffs along the left bank of the Gauja valley. The Līču cliffs reach up to 30 meters high and about 200 meters wide, while the neighboring Laņģu cliffs rise up to 11 meters; the outcrop contains eight springs and nine caves and niches, though entering the caves is discouraged due to rockfall risk. A boardwalk section was added in 2015 to improve access and safety, and the trail draws more than 16,000 visitors a year.
