Kempingas, Vidzeme
Kanoe kempings sits directly on the banks of the Gauja River at Gaujas iela 36 in Līgatne, inside Gauja National Park, and offers pitches for tents, caravans, and campers alongside showers, toilets, electricity hookups, and picnic shelters with fire places. The site is a short walk from the Baltics' only cable ferry, which uses the river's current to pull vehicles across the water, and from the Folk Fishing Craft Museum, which displays traditional fish-catching tools. In winter the operator also runs bobsled rides nearby.
