Šateikių dvaras

Graži vieta, Telšių apskritis

Šateikių Manor stands on the banks of the Blendžiava stream, a tributary of the Salantas, on a 12.8-hectare estate first recorded in the 17th century. Its wooden main house dates to the late 18th century, and the surviving complex includes a granary, icehouse, threshing barn, an 1902 stable, an early 19th-century brewery and a historicist-style greenhouse. The estate passed between the Šverai, Broel-Plater and Plater families, the last of whom bought it outright in 1717 and held it until World War I. A landscape park laid out around 1875 once ranked among Lithuania's richest botanical gardens and still holds 37 introduced plant species, though most of the complex remains in poor condition despite a 2021 restoration of the manor house.
