The Vilnius University Šiauliai Academy Botanical Garden was founded in 1961 and covers 6.54 hectares. It grows over 4,600 plant species and varieties across systematics, dendrology, horticulture, alpine and Lithuanian-flora collections. The garden belongs to Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) and exchanges seeds with more than 250 botanical gardens worldwide. Admission is paid, and pets are not allowed.
