Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis
Dainų slėnis is a natural amphitheater on the edge of Ąžuolynas, Kaunas's oak park, laid out in 1936-1937 after choir director Klemensas Griauzdė identified the sloped valley as a venue for the first Lithuanian song festivals and gave it its name. Tiered benches were built into the natural terrain for audiences, with a hardened dance surface on the main square below. It has hosted song festivals and mass choral celebrations continuously since, including through the Soviet period, and remains one of Lithuania's principal open-air venues for the Dainų šventė.
