Hand-carved oak sculptures fill this two-hectare park in Kaive, created during the international woodcarving symposium Wood and Axe in 2006, when an open-air stage and other facilities were also built. The grounds overlook Kaive Lake through a stand of birch trees and include a restored ice cellar now used for gatherings, a still-unrestored historic wine cellar, a children’s playground and a volleyball court. It functions both as a venue for local events and summer celebrations and as a quiet spot for walking among the sculptures.
