Mazais ezeriņš, a small lake in Viesīte, has a signposted rest and campfire spot on its shore, roughly midway along the 600-metre one-way Mīlestības taka (Love Trail). The trail starts near the town's Kristīne pharmacy, crosses a boardwalk through wet forest and a children's play area, and ends at a stage on Mīlestības saliņa (Love Island). Beavers, muskrats, wild ducks and swans are among the wildlife regularly seen around the lake.
