Buvę teismo rūmai Viešvilėje

Graži vieta, Tauragės apskritis

This red-brick 1902 building in Neo-Gothic, East Prussian Reform style features pointed-arch windows, a high roof, a decorative portal and a tower composition evoking medieval Gothic and crusader-fortress architecture. Built when Viešvilė was one of five judicial-district centers in the Klaipėda region, it housed a courthouse, prison, notary office and civil-records office serving about 72 surrounding villages; damaged in WWII and restored, it retains many authentic details including notable star vaults inside, and since 1956 the building has been adapted for institutional use.
