This memorial grave in Ylakiai honors insurgents who fell fighting Soviet forces during the June 1941 uprising, together with the remains of 18 partisans exhumed from various burial sites and reinterred here in 1995. Related graves at Narvydžiai cemetery and in Mosėdis hold the remains of partisans killed between 1944 and 1953. The Ylakiai grave is a state-protected cultural heritage object.
