This monument honors poet Jonas Aleksandravičius, who wrote under the pen name Jonas Aistis and was born and spent his childhood in the Rumšiškės area. He used several pseudonyms, the most notable "KOSSU," an acronym formed from the first letters of five women he had loved: Konstancija, Ona, Sara, Sonia and Uršulė.
