Ringovė hillfort (also called Pilikė or Linksmasis Hill) is a hillfort and settlement in Kaunas district, in Ringovė village, beside the Kaunas-Jurbarkas-Šilutė-Klaipėda road. Built on a promontory of the Nemunas' right bank, its rectangular platform measures 135 m by 32 m at its southern end, with steep slopes 20-30 m high. Dated to the start of the second millennium, it's considered an important monument of Lithuanian resistance against the Teutonic Order - the wooden Ringė castle mentioned in chronicles from 1364 once stood here. It was declared a state-protected monument on April 29, 2005, covering 38,000 square meters.
