This open-air art project in Užventis honors Lithuanian writers and intellectuals connected to the town, Marija Pečkauskaitė, Povilas Višinskis and Žemaitė, through crosses, chapels and religious sculptures blending craftsmanship and faith. International watercolor plein-air sessions have been held here since 2009, drawing well-known Lithuanian artists and taking inspiration from the Venta River, in tribute to Eduardas Urbanavičius (1931-2008), a master of Lithuanian watercolor painting and founder of the AQUA 12 group.
