Opened in June 2023 inside Anykščiai Regional Park, this educational path leads visitors up to one of Lithuania’s eighteen triangulation points on the Struve Geodetic Arc, a UNESCO World Heritage chain of measurement stations built between 1816 and 1852 to help determine the Earth’s shape and size. Along the route a 4-meter wooden arch bridge crosses a ravine beside a straight bridge, letting visitors compare curved and straight-line measurement methods, and a model of Lithuania’s territory shows the 23 triangles the arc traced across the country.
