This hilltop sacred site near Pavandenė dates to the era of resistance against the Crusaders and the Livonian Order, overlooking Gludas Lake with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It later took the name Sklepkalnis after a family burial vault was built there. The site was renovated in October 2019 and made accessible to visitors with disabilities and families with young children.
