Graži vieta, Šiaulių apskritis
One of the oldest wooden churches in Lithuania, this Baroque church stands on the highest hill in Lioliai, built in 1768 and restored in 1851 with the addition of a bell tower; its 1857 wooden belfry echoes the form of traditional Lithuanian defensive structures. The interior preserves authentic 18th and 19th century religious furnishings, including a late 18th century main altar with tiered sculptural groups of saints.
