Paneriai forest is a large, roughly 2,200-hectare woodland massif stretching southwest from Lower Paneriai toward Juodšiliai, within Vilnius city and district. It's home to roe deer, wild boar, hares and squirrels. A viewing point sits at the start of the Neris riverside route, with an observation tower reached after a short climb.
