The trail leads from the southern shore of Käsmu Bay, Võsu, through the forests of Lahemaa and the heritage landscapes around Võhma and Uusküla to the rapid rivers of Northern Estonia. Along the trail are Loobu and Valgejõgi, with Joaveski and Nõmmeveski waterfalls falling from their banks.
