About 1 kilometer southeast of Tytuvėnai, this 46.5 hectare lake stretches 1.1 kilometers long and 0.7 kilometers wide, with a maximum depth of 42.8 meters, elevated eastern and southwestern shores and a low, marshy northern shore. Its Didžioji and Varnų islands sit within the lake, and a trail circling the shore leads to a legendary hillfort on the northern bank and an observation tower on Kokmaniškė hill overlooking the water and its birdlife.
