Kempingas, Ida-Virumaa
This RMK-maintained campfire site sits at the end of the Kotka hiking trail in Alliku village, within Alutaguse National Park's Muraka nature protection area. Two roofed fire pits with grills, a forest hut, a woodshed, a covered table, a viewing tower and a dry toilet serve visitors, alongside parking for about ten cars and space for up to four tents. The surrounding landscape mixes varied forest habitat types with sandy eskers left behind as Lake Peipus retreated, open bog vegetation with hollows and bog pools, and a nearby raised-bog boardwalk. Because the site lies inside a protected nature area, visitors should check current access restrictions before camping or lighting fires here.
