Trušu dārzs (Zaķīši) is a petting farm near the Amata River where tame rabbits roam freely in a meadow alongside birds, and visitors can also meet horses, cattle with calves, sheep with lambs, pigs, goats with kids, and poultry such as ducks, geese, chickens and turkeys. A children's playground has swings, a trampoline and a playhouse, and a 1 km forest trail leads to the Skujupe boulder. Seasonal farm products, including milk, cheese, oven-baked bread, eggs, fruit and vegetables, are sold on site, and the surrounding area of ravines, beaver ponds and cranberry bogs sits close to Gauja National Park.
