Reaching this RMK campsite requires a roughly 4-kilometer hike along a marked trail onto the Harilaid peninsula, part of Vilsandi National Park on Saaremaa’s northwestern coast, since motorized traffic is banned beyond the parking area. The site provides a woodshed, an outdoor fireplace, a picnic table, and a dry toilet beside sand and pebble beaches and dunes near Laialepa bay. Camping and campfires on the peninsula are permitted only at this designated spot, part of a landscape protected since 1924 for its birdlife and seal-watching value.
