This trail runs through the Lāčupīte Arboretum, a protected nature area between Apšuciems and Klapkalnciems in Engure parish, close to the Gulf of Riga coast. The grounds hold roughly 60 conifer species and 350 tree species overall, with rhododendrons flowering in May and June. The path is laid out as 15 themed zones with wooden sculptures, including a labyrinth and a kinetic-trail rest area, making it a family-friendly walk near the sea.
