Liongino Šepkos parkas

Graži vieta, Panevėžio apskritis

Named for woodcarver Lionginas Šepka, this park on Taikos gatvė in Rokiškis began taking shape in 2001 when the Rokiškis Regional Museum started hosting republic-level wood-carving plein-airs on the site. More than 100 sculptures have since been added by participating carvers, each reinterpreting Šepka's life and work while showing off the range, and occasional missteps, of contemporary Lithuanian woodcarving. The park has since become a regular gathering spot for both locals and visiting tourists.
