Driksnas sils is a 676-hectare nature park established in 1990 along a 5-km stretch of the Madona-Trepe esker ridge south of the Aiviekste river, including Drikšņa and Pārkārtņa lakes. It preserves one of Latvia's few dry pine forests on esker ridges.
