Graži vieta, Vilniaus apskritis
Near the village of Santaka in the Vilnius district, the Žeimena river flows into the Neris, forming a confluence roughly 40 kilometers from the capital. Two railway bridges cross the Neris here, an older disused span alongside the newer bridge that still carries trains, while a hanging pedestrian bridge nicknamed the "monkey bridge" crosses the Žeimena nearby. The site is reached mainly on foot or bicycle through forest and gravel paths from the Žukonys area, with only limited roadside parking near the surrounding garden-plot settlements. Calm, shallow water and quiet surroundings make it a popular short hiking destination favored by local anglers and photographers.
