Spindžiaus ir Spindžiuko protaka

Graži vieta, Vilniaus apskritis

Spindžius and Spindžiukas lakes are connected by a short channel where the Strėva stream passes between them, crossed by a footbridge, within Aukštadvaris Regional Park near Strėva village in Trakai district. Spindžius, at 106.7 hectares the largest lake in the reserve, is fed by a strong iron-rich spring that gives it the greenish tint typical of Lithuania's so-called "green lakes." The spot is a marked rest stop on local trails, with benches and an information board showing the regional park's layout.
