Jomantas park in the Baltupiai area of Vilnius's Verkiai ward covers 33 hectares. Its western section is a birch forest with a dense network of trails, while the eastern section is mixed conifer forest with old spruce and pine and natural ravines. The park takes its name from a former manor owner; part of the 100 km walking trail that circles Vilnius runs through it. Deer, badger colonies and various bird species can be found here.
