Durbės dvaro parkas

Graži vieta, Kurzeme

Durbe Manor Park (Durbes muižas parks) surrounds Durbe Manor in Tukums, whose core building dates to 1671 and was remodeled in Neoclassical style during the 1820s for Count Christoph Johann von Medem by architect Johann Gottfried Adam Berlitz. The roughly 28-hectare English-style landscape park, laid out between 1818 and 1838, contains Latvia's longest stone pedestrian bridge, a rotunda, and the country's largest Weymouth pine (trunk girth 3.18 meters). From 1923 to 1929 the estate belonged to Latvian poet and playwright Rainis; the manor now houses part of the Tukums Museum collection.
