Graži vieta, Telšių apskritis
Also known as Sprūdės kalnas, this hillfort rises on a steep hill reaching about 216 meters above sea level near Šaukštelis village in Varniai Regional Park, Telšiai district. Three rampart lines up to 4 meters high, separated by ditches, surround an oval platform measuring 29 by 26 meters, with slopes up to 22 meters high; archaeologists date its use to the era of conflict with the Teutonic and Livonian Orders, and local legend credits its construction to a prince named Sprūdeika after a falling-out with his brother. From the top, Lake Biržulis, Lake Lūkstas, and several other hillforts in the area are visible.
