Kazlų Rūda Park grew from a young pine forest planted around the town, which was declared a summer resort in 1927. Covering about 9 protected hectares, it includes a Bird Trail (Paukščių takas) with birdhouses and recorded bird calls, and a STIHL rope adventure course with six routes for different ages and skill levels - reportedly the first publicly funded rope park in the Suvalkija region.
