Kryžiaus atradimo bažnyčia, Šeduva

Graži vieta, Šiaulių apskritis

A parish is thought to have existed in Šeduva since 1512, but the church standing today is a brick structure built between 1640 and 1649 under Upytė voivode Jeronimas Valavičius and consecrated by Bishop Jurgis Tiškevičius. Renaissance in style with Baroque features, it has a cross-shaped floor plan, two bell towers, and a three-nave interior with five altars. Fire and wartime damage struck the building more than once, and its present appearance dates from a 1905 rebuild followed by further repairs carried out under parish clergy in 1937 and 1974.
